What Is My Full-Mouth Implant and Zirconia Treatment Plan?

Edin C.Aug 4, 2026

I am 55 years old, generally healthy, and I do not consume alcohol. I have several damaged and missing teeth and would like to restore both my smile and chewing function.

What treatments may be required, and how long could the overall process take?

Based on the initial assessment, your treatment will need to be completed in stages.

The upper right central incisor, tooth 11, needs to be extracted. Following the extraction, bone grafting and membrane placement will be performed to rebuild the bone in this area. Approximately six months will be required for bone formation and healing before an implant can be placed in the region of tooth 11.

Tooth 46 also needs to be extracted. Dental implants may then be planned for the regions of teeth 36, 45, and 46, subject to the condition of the bone and soft tissues.

Tooth 21 requires root canal treatment before the final restoration is placed.

The proposed treatment plan includes:

  • Extraction of tooth 11

  • Bone grafting and membrane placement in the tooth 11 region

  • Approximately six months of healing before implant placement

  • One dental implant in the tooth 11 region after healing

  • Extraction of tooth 46

  • Dental implants in the regions of teeth 36, 45, and 46

  • Root canal treatment for tooth 21

  • 24 zirconia restorations for teeth 16–26 and 31–36, 41–46

  • Professional dental cleaning

  • A custom night guard to protect the zirconia restorations and implants from clenching or grinding

The final restorations can be planned after the extractions, bone healing, implant integration, and root canal treatment have been successfully completed.

The treatment plan and timeline will be confirmed following a detailed clinical examination, three-dimensional dental tomography, and an evaluation of the bone and gum tissues.
