I have previously had composite bonding, but some of the restorations have broken and become discoloured over time.
What may be causing these problems, and is there a more durable treatment option for improving my smile?

You have previously undergone composite bonding treatment, but because your bite is not ideally suited to this type of restoration, some of the bonding has experienced fractures and discolouration.
Composite bonding can work very well in suitable cases, but when there is increased bite pressure, an unfavourable bite relationship, or significant contact between the teeth, the material may be more prone to chipping, breaking, or staining over time.
For a stronger and potentially longer-lasting full-smile rehabilitation, 24 zirconia crowns may be considered.
The proposed treatment plan includes:
24 zirconia crowns for teeth 16–26 and 31–36, 41–46
A custom night guard to help protect the zirconia restorations from excessive bite forces, clenching, or grinding
The night guard is particularly important in your case because it can help reduce stress on the restorations and lower the risk of future fractures.
Before proceeding, your bite, existing composite restorations, tooth structure, and gum health should be carefully evaluated. The final treatment plan will be confirmed after a detailed clinical examination and bite analysis.
