First, a clinical examination and dental X-rays are required to assess the condition of your molar teeth, your bite, and the amount of healthy tooth structure remaining.
Although composite bonding or composite veneers can be used in certain cases, they are generally not recommended for molar teeth. Since molars are responsible for most of the chewing force, composite restorations in these areas are more likely to chip, wear down, or become detached over time.
For a stronger, more durable, and longer-lasting solution, we recommend zirconia crowns for your posterior teeth. Zirconia offers excellent strength, natural aesthetics, and superior resistance to daily chewing forces, making it the ideal material for molars.
